1. What is this “Mi-Fi discount promotion”?
This is a special promotion where Digicel is selling a 4G Mi-Fi for only K199 (original price @ K430). Once you buy this mi-fi, you will be given a Free 4G LTE SIM + FREE 1GB data valid for 30 days (1GB free every month over 6 months). Not only that, you will also be given access to high discounted data plans, which can be purchased for your Mi-Fi.
2. So what do I do to get the free data?
To get the free data, all you have to do is call 7222 2220 and provide the below details to Digicel Customer Care:
- Mobile number attached to the MiFi
- IMEI of the MiFi (remove back cover to retrieve the IMEI)
- Alternate mobile number
- Your email address (optional)
Using the information provided, your free data will then be activated with 2 hours.
3. What happens if I do not register my MiFi? Will I miss the free data?
You will not miss the free data. If you do not register the MiFi by calling Digicel Call Centre, the free 1GB for the first month will be activated automatically as a welcome gift from Digicel. However, you will not be eligible to get the rest of 5 months auto-renewal of free data until registration is completed.
4. How do I go about buying data plans if the free data is used up?
You can buy any data plans we have available for you via *777# OR My Digicel App. We also have discounted data plans available for MiFi devices only.

5. How will I buy these MiFi data plans for my MiFi?
You have two (2) options:
( a ) Gift A Data Plan via My Digicel App &*777#
- You can gift a data plan to your MiFi number by login to My Digicel App, login and go to “Send Credit/Plan Gifting” menu, enter the number of the MiFi and select the MiFi data plan;
- or dialing *777#, select option 6 > Gift A Plan then select option 6 > MiFi Plans
( b ) From My Digicel web portal
- Using internet browser, click this link: mydigicel.digicelgroup.com then enter the MiFi number & password
- Then go to “My Plans” or “Gift A Plan”
6. Will I be able to buy the MiFi data bundle for any mobile number apart from the MiFi number?
- Unfortunately no. These MiFi data plans can only be purchased for MiFi numbers, which were originally attached to the MiFi when purchased.
7. How do I check my data bundle (1GB)?
- When Mi-Fi is in use, the bundle that shows on the screen of the Mi-Fi is how much data has been used, the customer can also check bundle via removing sim and inserting into a phone via *130#
8. How many Mi-Fis can a customer purchase?
- There are no restrictions, customer can purchase more than one Mi-Fi.
