DigicelPlay box enables you to record your favourite programs in three different ways. In order for you to do that, you must ensure that you have a flash drive with the storage capacity of 8GB or more.
Follow these basic steps below,
Option 1 – Recording a Program
Firstly, insert the flash drive into the flash drive port at the back of the Playbox. After that, on the remote control, you press the record button and you will see the recording time displaying on the top right-hand corner on the TV screen. This indicates that the playbox is recording the program unto your flash drive. To end with the recording session, you simply press the stop button on the remote control and a display on your TV screen will inform you that the recording has stopped as shown below,
Option – 2 Time shift
You will now not too be worried about missing a second of your favorite program with the time-shift record function of the Playbox. In order to do this, you must ensure that you have your flash drive inserted in your playbox. To do this, you simply press the pause button on your remote control to pause a program currently broadcasted on TV. The play box automatically starts recording the rest of the program. Therefore, to continue viewing the program, simply press play on the Digicel Playbox
Option – 3 Reservations
This final option allows you to record a program that is yet to be played on TV. Firstly, press the guide button and scroll through the TV program until you find your favorite program. Then, press the green button on your remote control to schedule your recording session. The program will then be recorded for you to view at a later time.
